Hi,

I currently use Win7 x64 Pro, with Outlook 2007 and Rainlendar Pro 2.8 (b101) 32 bit. In case it matters, my time zone is GMT+13 (daylight time saving), in New Zealand.

It seems when I create a recurring event in Outlook it shows a day later in Rainlendar.

When I go into Rainlendar and check the info, it shows the date correctly, but it's highlighted wrongly. If I try to edit it in any way the event will disappear from Outlook completely.

I've attached an image to show the issue.



Now I had an issue before in relation to birthdays which did a similar thing, but of course you fixed that by adding the option for Rainlendar to read birthdays directly from contacts .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found a bug caused by incorrect time zone adjustment if a recurring event's start date was at the 1st (or last depending on your time zone) of the month. This will be fixed in the next build. Does the error happen also for other days or only if you set the start date to the 1st day?

Yes it does happen to other days. I just tried to set a recurring event from March 2nd - 23rd, every Wednesday. However Rainlendar is showing Thursday instead for the whole series.

Is there anything you need to me to test to help nail this bug?

Can you attach the examples of the Outlook's and Rainlendar's events? Save the Outlook's appointment in the "Outlook Message Format *.msg" and the export the same event from Rainlendar in iCalendar format (you can export the events in the Manager dialog).

Thanks. The problem with that event is that the "all day" flag is set to true even if it has a start and end times. I noticed that Outlook doesn't change the flag if the event was originally created as all day event.

If you create a event which is not set as "All day event" and add a recurrence for it is it then shown correctly in Rainlendar (set the event to start from the middle of the month so that the previous bug doesn't affect it)? If it still isn't shown on the correct day, please attach a new sample.
