Year 2011 Bug? Back to the seventies 3 Years, 10 Months ago
A simple quick add, "28.4.2011 Waters"

sets the event to 28.1.1970. I have quickadded events this year with success, so perhaps it has nothing to do with this year. But anyway this results in wrong dates. I can also leave the year out, and get dates from the seventies.

Upgraded to newest 2.9-b102 and I get the same bug.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I tried the same text in the quick add window and the event was created on the correct day. Do you have any more details about the problem?

This is exciting.

I tried some insertions and they went alright. Before I became concerned about my mental health I issued:

Code:

 1042  AddEntry.sh 29.4. test that succeeded
 1044  sudo date 013110002011.23
 1045  AddEntry.sh 30.4. test that failed

Here, AddEntry is just a shortcut to "rainlendar2 -a". The date I set is 31.01.2011 around 10 am. And suddenly everything (regarding QuickAdd) went kaboom again.

So this clearly has something to do with January, the last few days of it. Early January things worked alright.

I wish I could deliver better information.

Got it now (I should have tried this yesterday . The start date gets invalid if the target month has fewer days than what the current day is. I'll fix that in the next build.
