TOPIC: QuickAdd from the command line
#14834
QuickAdd from the command line 3 Years, 9 Months ago
I want to add and delete events by calling Rainlendar from another program using the command line, but I can't find any examples.

When I add an event, I want to specify the time and date, the category and the location, and I want to set an alarm to go off 1 hour before this event.
When I delete an event, I want to specify the date and time.

Can anyone provide me with examples to do these 2 operations from the command line?

Any help would be appreciated.

In the help file look at "User Guide/Options/Command Line Arguments":
"The -a or --add switch is used to create an event or task from the given string"

There is more information on "User Guide/Events and tasks/Create new event or task/QuickAdd"

And for how to use QuickAdd, you can take a look at wiki.rainlendar.info/index.php?title=QuickAdd

QuickAdd is only for create an event, not for delete from the command line.
