Google Events cannot be dismissed! :( 2 Years, 2 Months ago  
I was evaluating Rainlendar and I think there is a bug

Rainlendar Pro
Version 2.8.1 (b103) 32 bit
Build on Feb 4 2011


How much I seem to dismiss this Google Calendar Event Notification that pops up in the screen, it comes back in around 7 seconds! Close it...and pops back in! Very annoying.

I checked the change log and saw that an issue similar to this was fixed in an earlier release. However I believe, that I have the latest version.

I would really love if this gets fixed because its VERY annoying.

Any other information that could post here help identify the issue?

Just give details how to reproduce the problem (i.e. what kind of event you need to create to Google to show the problem) and I'll take a look at it.

Hi,

first of all - sorry for my bumpy English grammar

I updated my rainlendar 2.8.1 to the latest beta 2.9 (b105) 64bit in the hope that the problem above mentioned has been solved but unfortunately the problem still occurs.

Here some facts about the event.:
Itīs an normal event (on googlemail) every second Friday from 17 till 18 without a category.
It has an Umlaut "ä" in itīs title, 4 participants and was created by a friend of mine with an android app.


Iīve tried to recreate such an event (via the google calender website) to reproduce this problem but all events created by me, could I successfully dismiss.


I hope thatīs a bit more information so hopefully someone could reproduce this problem?!

I would have to see the event in question. If you are willing to send the Rainlendar's debug log to the support address I can take a look at what Google returns to Rainlendar. Note that the debug log will contain all the information that is received from your Google calendar.

Iīm having the exact same problem here with Rainlendar 2.8.1 (b103) 32bit

It occurs only with one repeaded appointment. It was an invitation for a repeated meeting (every monday 20h) sent by some friend via an .ics which google imported after I accepted the invitation.

If I could help just let me know.
