I think, because Statica-Color was a old skin, it used the old Lua 5.1 syntax.
But Some of the scripts got broken by the Lua 5.2 update
So i update the Statica-Color's weather to match Lua 5.2 syntax and make it as addon (StaticaColor-weather.r2skin-addon).

Installation : You only need to drag the file into Rainlendar's window and then drop it.

My post was one of the last Internet actions I was able to make before my, normally very reliable, Thailand ISP unexpectedly went down completely. Thankfully my ISP (3bb) engineers came out and fixed a problem down the road in under 1 day from my call to them. Hence why I am now able to respond to your post

I have installed 2.10 (64 bit) together with the update you kindly produced for my StaticaColor weather skin and I am delighted to advise the weather now loads and updates as perfectly as it did with previous versions.

Thanks ever so much anoob, not only for your work on a successful solution for me, but also for the speed in which you supplied it. I also really appreciated you advising me how to install the update which made it a "piece of cake" for me to implement.

I do also having problems with since I've installed V2.10
With V2.9 my Statica-Weather works fine, but with V2.10 it doessn't refresh the weather for my locations.
So I downgraded to 2.9 again.
My URL for getting weather-data is:
weather.msn.com/RSS.aspx?wealocations=wc:8175740&weadegreetype=C
Since it has worked for long time, I assume, this should be not the reason for stoping weather-Updates in V2.10.

Could anyone help please, cause the disturbing info each time I start my computer "Update availiable" nerves a little.

I really love Rainlendar and want to take this chance to congratulate the developer for realizing this amazing App.

Hi there, I have the exact same problem as @Delirium.

I am using StaticaEN_HUD_Edit version 1.2.
Up until now I was using Rainlendar 2.9 and everything worked great including the Weather RSS feed.
But once I updated to Rainlander 2.10 the skin loads but the weather RSS which gets the exact same URL gives "Download failed!" message.

I am using Statica V1.4 in english
(949_Statica_Weather-1)
I've tried Statica in german translation (mySkin_V1.4) as well, with same result.

With both Rainlendar V2.9 works fine, V2.10 won't upgrade the weather.

Meanwhile I've found in "settings" - "enlarged" (if this is the correct translation for the german word "erweitert") the ability to deactivate the Rainlendar-Update-Infos.
So it isn't a hard problem to me anymore.

But would be fine to find a solution to run Rainlendar in V2.10
