the only thing that i still couldn't find a way to get around is the messy look of the tooltips.
i guess it would help if they weren't animated while fading in, but i haven't found any options where i can turn that off. sure, one could turn tooltips completely off but i find the come in handy from time to time...

if you don't know what i mean by talking about 'messy tooltips' let me know and i'll post some screenshots of it.

I've been trying to found out some way to disable the Beryl's effects in Rainlendar but so far I haven't found any solution. The proper way would be if Rainlendar would support the transparent windows natively in Linux but unfortunately the framework I'm using makes that quite complicated.

thnx 2 antiplex for a skin I was lookinf for.

now I use shadow skin with the region transparency option,
I used rainlendar a long time ago in Vindovs and want
to use it even when using a better OS (Linux)
...the transparency was annoying, because here
it is not that smooth as in vindovs.

wish good luck and a wise mind 2 Rainy programing

I've been messing around with beryl and rainlendar and I've found a simple way to somewhat disable the beryl border/shadow effect on rainlendar which a lot of us are annoyed with.

Simply go to rainlendar's option panel and in the position box select On bottom.

This will remove the border/shadow from the calendar, to do and event window.

The bery border still remains on the reminders or any popups, but hey it's a big improvement

Screen cap for details.
