2 minutes difference between google and rainlendar 1 Year, 10 Months ago
Hello,
confusing problem:

When i'm creating an entry in rainlendar for 17:00, in google an entry with 16:58 is created.

When creating an entry in google for 18:00, in rainlendar an entry with 18:02 will be created.

Any idea??

Regards
Christopher

Welcome to the forum, clinke.
Maybe you have set a time-offset.
Please check: Options... > Calendars > [your google calendar] > Time offset (mins) > its default value should be "0".

Oh, i'm so stupid. Of course that is the problem
I thought that this parameter has the functionality to delay the google request after booting the laptop. There i have the problem that internet connection is not yet done and rainlendar tries to synchronize. Therefore the first call does not work and i have to wait 15 minutes for next request (or do it manually)

Thank you very much for help

Guys, I'm having the same problem and using offset actually DOES solve it. But what I don't understand is why can't Rainlendar use MY system time and not timezone stored on Google Calendar?

And the thing is, I DID set the timezone in Gcal to match my system timezone, but STILL Rainlendar displays all appointments 2 hours behind. So I have to use offset to correct this behavior. Offset is a workaround, and I'd like to get to the bottom of this issue to be frank.

Is there any way to properly troubleshoot the issue and understand whether it's a problem with Rainlendar or Gcal?
