TOPIC: Undismissed reminders steal cursor (free version)

Undismissed reminders steal cursor (free version) 7 Months ago
When I am typing or working in another program, for example a web browser, and a reminder pops up, I am unable to enter text until the reminder is dismissed. This is easily resolved, but annoying.

I've searched the forum as best I can, and don't see any other mention of this problem, so it may be a new bug, or something specific to my system. It might also be a problem limited to the free version, but since I'm considering upgrading I wanted to find out, if I could, whether this problem is likely to occur in the paid version or not.

I'm running Rainlendar Lite on Windows 7.

Thanks!

This seems to happen on some computers but I have not been able to reproduce the issue myself. It could be related by some 3rd party application which is incompatible with Rainlendar. You can try to disable the Options->Advanced->"Show due to event" options so that the alarm does not update itself every minute. The focus might still change when the alarm is shown but it should not do that anymore after that.

Ah - unchecking "keep alarm always on top" fixes it for me.

Feeling slightly like a doofus now, but I appreciate the nudge in the right direction. Thank you very much!
