after confirm an alarm, the event time changes 5 Months ago
I run rainlendar pro 2.12.2 b138 with a google calendar.

I have a calendar date with alarm at (e.g.) 08:00. The alarm triggers at 08:00, I confirm the alarm. Now after some seconds this date shows up with 10:00 - advanced by 2 hours.
This even happens again at 10:00, now the same date shows up with 12:00

I'd like to try the latest beta, but there is no beta "PRO" - and I need the sync with google.

please help

Does the same happen also if you just make a change e.g. in the title of the event?

Can you run Rainlendar in the debug mode and send the debug log to me (use the support email address and include a link to this forum thread) when you dismiss the event and the time changes. If you have multiple calendars enabled please disable all the others so that the log will contain only the calendar which has the problem.

The beta versions are always the Pro version even if the package does not mention it.

Murphys law ... Now I run rainlendar2 with debug enabled, google calendar only, ... up to now I could not reproduce the problem.

I'll keep on trying.

Hello! I have the same problem here!

Everytime when an alarm shows up as a reminder in a popup on my computer and I press the reject butten this alarm is shifted two hours.

If I press the suspend button the alarm is not shifted but then it shows up every few minutes.

I have Rainlender Pro Version 2.12.2 (b138) 32 Bit (Mar 16 2014).

Btw it took me one week to find out which of my many devices is responsible for shifted events.

Could different timezones be responsible for this strange behaviour?

I have just an idea:

In debug-log I've found this part for my event:

Code:

"start": {
  "dateTime": "2014-07-11T08:40:00+02:00",
  "timeZone": "Europe/Amsterdam"
 },

My original event starts at 06:40 o'clock.

So originally it might be stored as 08:40+02:00!?

Then if I acknowledge the popup window it might lose the information about the timezone +02:00 and stores only 08:40 (without timezone information) and therefore it is thought to be in UTC+00:00 instead of UTC+02:00. So in google-calendar it is stored as 08:40+00:00 which in my timezone will be 10:40+02:00.
Next time the event is read with 10:40+02:00 and saved with 10:40+00:00. And so on and so on.
