Tray problem in linux. 7 Years, 1 Month ago
Hi. I'm using Ubuntu 7.04
I added my rainlendar to the start-up sessions, because i wanted to start with it.
and I have notice some kind of bug. Why my trayicon is just above gnome-panel?
When I open rainlendar after start trayicon works correctly.

Have U got any solution?

I have the same problem, I think its related with composition (Compiz in my case), with Metacity I remember it had work correctly.

But if that's a composition related problem, is there a way to fix that, since many distros are now coming with Compiz enable by default.

I've noticed that too but I have don't know what causes it. The tray icon is handled by the framework so I don't know what it exactly does. It could be that Rainlendar tries to add the icon before the tray is fully initialized.

Yea, I've got the same thing.

I've noticed it some time ago, when I was using ubuntu 7.04 with metacity and rainlendy 2.1 (i think), got the same on gutsy with compiz and rainlendar 2.2 b50.

btw .deb package is a spot on. 100% repo-must-be in future.
