switching to german 7 Years, 7 Months ago
Hello,
i have installed rainlendar 2.1 under ubuntu feisty fawn amd64. But I have problems to activate the german languagepack.

I installed it by drag&drap and it appears under "languages". But after selecting it and restart rainlendar he forgot my selection.

Any ideas for a solution?

Thx a lot

Do you have German language support installed to Ubuntu?

Yes I have. BUt I'm not sure wether everything is correct.
If I type "locale" into the terminal I get this:
Code:

LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=de_DE:de:en_GB:en
LC_CTYPE="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="de_DE.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=

I tried this by first installing the German language (System->Administration->Language Support) and then downloading and installing the German translation for Rainlendar and I was able to change the language without any problems. I wonder if the amd64 version causes some problems with the locale.
