TOPIC: Different font colors
#15860
Different font colors 3 Years, 1 Month ago
Hello

I'm totally new at scripting and I must admit I don't really understand everything...
I'd like to have different colors to apply to dates, according to which sort of event happens on the day. For example: 21 is a party event > goes red, 25 is a business event > goes blue, etc...
I found how to make it with bitmap but I want to make it only with fonts. Is it possible?
I created different profiles but the EventFontColor seems to override profiles' colors...
So what should I do?

(I hope it's clear enough, English is not my mother language)

Welcome to the forum, movezerb.

You post this question on "Scripting" (but it would be better in "Skinning").
Are you using the .r2skin format (xml) or the old .ini format?
which version or Rainlendar?

Oh ! Sorry for that ^^'
It's the old .ini format, I don't even know how to code a .r2skin ^^'
In fact, it's a skin I found and I tried to modify it to make just as I want.
Rainlendar version is latest 2.9.

I started using Rainlendar with the version 2.x.
I can't help you skinning the old .ini format, even I don't know if what you want is possible with the .ini format.
Hope that someone else can help you.

Is it possible to convert old skin format to new? And how to code a new format skin?
I tried - just to see - to open a new format skin in a text editor and it doesn't work... How am I suppose to edit it?

Is it possible to convert old skin format to new?See: www.rainlendar.net/cms/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=42&func=view&catid=9&id=13427

And how to code a new format skin?Do: Right-click on calendar window -> click 'Help' and see 'Skinning Tutorial'

I tried - just to see - to open a new format skin in a text editor and it doesn't work... How am I suppose to edit it?Rainlendar2 skin (.r2skin) is just a normal zip archive with different file extension so you can uncompress it after renaming the extension back to .zip

I want to make it only with fonts. Is it possible? I created different profiles but the EventFontColor seems to override profiles' colors... So what should I do?a) It's possible.
b) If the date that has event is use Bitmap to appear, only change the EventFontColor will not affect the appearance.
At [Event] session, you must to change EventRasterizer=FONT to use Font to appear.
