Mac OS X (Intel): Rainlendar-2.8.b100.dmg

MD5SUMS-b100

This is beta version! It has not been tested.

Languages:
I'm considering including some of the language files with Rainlendar to make it easier for non-English speaking people to start to use the calendar. There next version will be release quite soon so there shouldn't be much changes to the texts anymore. If you want to help and add the missing texts to your native language file your can download the latest pot file from here: rainlendar2.pot.

Note that if you use the above pot file to update a language file please do not upload it to the Rainlendar's language page yet but instead attach the rainlendar2.po file to this thread.

The offer for a free license for translation still applies. After you have added the missing texts and attached the file to here just send the link to your post in email to Rainlendar's support address. Remember to include the licensee information too (name and email). If you already have a license you can also give the new one as a christmas present so someone .

Changes:
o Some of the languages are now bundled with Rainlendar so no separate installation is required.
o Added week numbers to the week views in Shadow4 and Chromophore skins.
o Added url buttons for the schedule views.
o Changed the loop alarm sound to be defined as number of seconds instead looping forever.
o The today's item and header in the event list can be customized with "todayheader" and "todayitem".
o Getting and setting global variables didn't work from lua scripts. Fixed.
o "Try direct connection if proxy fails" didn't work in Google calendar if the "Suppress errors" was enabled. Fixed.
o Removing start or due date from an Outlook task didn't work. Fixed.
o It was still possible to define the start date after due date for the tasks if just one of them was enabled. Fixed.
o New events created from the month view's context menu had today's date instead the selected one. Fixed.
o Month view showed some all day events incorrectly. Fixed.
o Upgraded to wxWidgets 2.8.11.

Here's the Spanish .po update. I'm not the best translator, so i hope that someone else will check this file and correct if there is something wrong.

EDIT: These 2 items are wrong
POT: Loop the alarm sound (secs) ---- RAINLENDAR2: Loop the alarm sound
POT: Time offset (mins) ---- RAINLENDAR2: Time offset

Re:Rainlendar 2.8 BETA build 100 3 Years, 4 Months ago
I have some problem.
Where are

"(Due in now)" <-- I don't know this phrase meaning......
"Netbook edition" <-- it's notebook ed??
"Go to the window's settings and point the path variable to a text file." <-- File widget??
"All following"
"Read birthdays from contacts"
"Values" <-- It's easy to translate but I need to know it means number or varible setting.

appear??

I'm confused about their meanings and function .
Please help me make the localization better. THX

PS.
It seemed that the .pot have updated but Rainlendar not.

"(Due in now)" <-- I don't know this phrase meaning...... Is in the alarm, when the clock time is the same as due time. I would recommend to change "(...." to " (...", with a space before.

"Netbook edition" <-- it's notebook ed?? Is in the about dialog. I don't have neither a netbook or a notebook. so, i don't know this one.

"Go to the window's settings and point the path variable to a text file." <-- File widget?? Yes. you're right. Is when the widget is added but without file selected. There are some missing strings: "File full rows", "File height" and "File width" in File. "World time format", "World time location" and "World time timezone" in World Time.

"All following" This is when a recurrent event is set to delete. You could delete one instance, all following or the full event.

"Read birthdays from contacts"Is when an Outlook calendar is added.

"Values" <-- It's easy to translate but I need to know it means number or varible setting. Is for the "Categories..." editor dialog in the Skin settings.

If you're using Poedit, right click on a string and see its "references". Or take a look at the plain text. You will see something like this:
#: Plugins/OutlookPlugin/MapiHandler.cpp:522

I forgot to see the refrence just focus on translating strings.

Missing strings:
"File full rows"
"File height"
"File width"

"World time format"
"World time location"
"World time timezone"

Thank you Jorge_Luis!!
I've completed it.

PS.
But it doesn't work for b100 now, right?
I overwtite the old .po & .mo files in locale folder then refresh, the strings were not localized yet.

I added the missing strings and some additional comments to the pot file. The " (Due in now)" should probably just say " (Due now)" so I changed that too.

If you want to try the translation make sure you don't have the old language file in the settings folder or otherwise it will be used instead the one in the program folder (Hmmm... I wonder if this is going to cause problems...).
