Same problem with Rainlendar-pro v2.9 (b105) on Ubuntu Lucid 64 bits when I start the gnome session (I attach one screenshot).

I explain more my case: When I shutdown my PC, it disconnects all peripherals: modem, monitor, speakers, etc...
When I start my computer, the gnome session starts before than the ADSL connection starts.
The worst thing is that Rainlendar doesn't retry the connection later and I have refresh it manually.

Did you try changing these values in the advanced options (latest beta)?
"Reload delay after resume (ms)"
"Network access delay after startup (ms)"

I have increased these values now, but I haven't yet to prove it.
Anyway, I think that this isn't the solution. The solution should be: if error, retry after n seconds.
