Can't edit Eventlist_width in "Shadow4" skin.

The Rainlendar.ini file has the following:

[Variables/Shadow4/Event\ List]
Eventlist_width=325
Eventlist_height=650
Eventlist_max_height=650

The only variable available in the skin editing window is Eventlist_max_height. What happened to the other two variables? They were there before. The fact that the variable exists in the .ini file, and the event list is the default width says you don't support the width anymore.

I need the extra width for longer event data.

Thanks,

Okay. My bad. I found a workaround. I cancelled "Lock windows in place" and dragged the right margin to 325 pixels.

It would have been easier if it were available as a variable, as it used to be. What good is it to save the variable in the .ini file if it is not applied?

Thanks,

The variables are not stored to the ini file anymore but if you upgraded from an older version the old values will be still there. The window sizes and positions are stored to a file called windows.ini so you can change them in there (when Rainlendar is not running).

Okay, I found it.

Since the variables don't show up in the skin formatting the way they used to, nobody is going to know to go and edit the obscure variable names you have in the Windows.ini file. The old variables had names that made more sense(IMHO).

[1680x1050/Shadow4\:\:Event\ List]
Link=Shadow4::Grid Calendar
Edge=4
X=1350
Y=376
W=330
H=432

What does Edge=4 mean?

Thanks,

Normal users are not meant to edit the file manually since they can just resize the windows with the mouse. The "Edge" is a flag which is set if the window is next to a screen edge. You should not edit it.

Some problems with the new "save window position" feature on Win7 x64:

When set to remember it for each resolution, the calender windows doesn't 'snap' to each other anymore, leaving gapps or overlapping each other when adding / deleting things.

When "single value" is selected, everything is working as before.
