The "default categories" selection under the advanced options doesn't work anymore.

When I crate a new Event or ToDo all categories are shown. This happens since its possible to select multiple categories.

Under calendar options -> visual category only my selected "default categories" are shwon, this seems to work correctly. The same on show/hide cat options for calendars, todo, etc.

BTW: What does the "Grow upwards" option do ???

I think Grow upwards is for Todo and Event list
some people like to put them at the bottom of the screen
, the original list grow downwards when new items are added and they will grow out of the bottom of the screen. By using Grow upwards everything can be kept inside the visible area.

JWvanLohuizen: The window's height only defines the maximum size it can have. The size is automatically reduced to fit just the contents. If you want to the window to have a constant height you need to set the shrinktofit to 0 in the eventlist.xml.

Bandit: The list of categories are now read from the skin too so with Shadow4 you'll see all of them. I'll make that optional.
