Rainlendar 2.1 build 39 7 Years, 5 Months ago
Build 39 can be downloaded from here:
Windows: Rainlendar-2.1.b39.zip
Linux: Rainlendar-2.1.b39.tar.bz2

This is beta version! It has not been tested.

The big new feature in this release is the much requested Google Calendar support. I haven't tested it much yet so I suggest that you take a backup of your calendar before you start to play around with it. All kind of feedback regarding to it is appreciated.

[2.1 Build 39] - 13 May 2007
o New plugin: GooglePlugin
o Fixed alarms in tasks which don't have start time defined.
o Tasks without due time are shown correctly now.
o Unknown dates in the task list are sorted to the end of the list.
o Unknown parameters in iCalendar properties do not stop the parsing anymore.
o Added Tooltip format to the advanced options.
o The default config path is taken from the %APPDATA% environment variable in Windows.
o New todo sort options: by location and by calendar.
o Fixed a crash bug when the recurrence interval was set to 0.

Windows Vista 32bit Ultimate using OL2K7
Bugs:
1.) All settings reverted to defaults.
2.) License information returned to "Unregistered"
3.) Several settings screens looked like this:

4.) My APPDATA path is:
Code:

C:\Users\FlyingHorse\AppData\Roaming

but rainlendar settings went to:
Code:

C:\UsersFlyingHorse\AppData\.rainlendar2

Went back to latest 2.1 final.

Running XP Sp2 my settings seemed to be ok (although I use the default location) but the advanced options menu was the same as flying horse's making it unusable. I wasn't able to try the google plugin.

Damn, it figures that things won't work in Vista. I'll change the path the way it was before.

I wonder what happened to the property sheets. I haven't done any changes to it...

Also on XP Pro and new beta has the same bad look in the settings and also "lost" all settings because it looked in the wrong path for it.
I *think* before Rainlendar looked at %HOME% and that is on a different folder than %Appdata%.
Furthermore, it seems that it doesn't even create its .rainlendar folder there but in %Userprofile% or %Homepath%. The .rainlendar folder was not in the %Appdata% folder but in the folder "above" it.

Now I tried to find the command line options for Rainlendar to specify the folder loacation but couldn't find it in the help (but I remember that there was one, from the days of the prerelease betas). Because I need Reinlendar to open the same stuff for all users since we share the same calendar here.
