I hope that you consider to let the user choose the horizontal size of the program (like one can arbitrarily choose the vertical size). The reason why I desperately wish for this feature is because the calendar only allows for four icons to be displayed in each day-box. This should be much larger (not by default, but by resizing it manually), that more icons/dates can fit in there. If you have only two dates each day, the calendar does not only look very ugly, it's also not clearly arranged anymore and thus of no use.

Please change this!

Yes, I can consider adding the width and height variables for the calendar window too.

Currently you can do that now by editing the skin and changing the w and h attributes for the <calendar> and <window> in the calendar.xml (the help file has instructions how to edit the skins).
