People with many professional or private appointments and tasks can't have too many weeks displayed on their limited screen space, so unnecessary hints ought to be suppressed. For the user it's completely meaningless whether or not an appointment was read out of Outlook or from where soever.

In my case this saving would have the reasonable amount of roundabout 20% which may mean a complete week more displayed.

If one might want to know with which software she or he noted the task, a button for toggleing the display between both modes may be useful.

I have to admit that my current skin was Vitrum. The Shadow4 event window has a fixed size so that this problem doesn't occur.

But anyway, users of other skins have it.

Are you referring to the name of the calendar which can be shown after the event and task summary? You can disable that from Options->advanced->Show task calendar (and Show event calendar).

Yes, I am.

Having installed the German language pack I can only guess that I'm looking for the right menu item and set the respective option.

There are 3 items in the "calendar" section of the "advanced" menu:

1. "Icons im Kalender zusammenführen" (join icons in the calendar)
Changes have no effect on what I see.

2. "Kalenderwahl per Mausrad" (choice of calendars by mouse wheel)
Also no visible effect.

3. "Aufgabenkalender anzeigen" (show task calendar)
Nothing to see, again.

The latter is certainly what you refer to. As I have only the Outlook calendar in use I cannot test whether another one would be hidden upon changes here. But this is not at all the problem I'm talking about:

As you can see in the attached screenshot Outlook's name is visible - unnecessarily. My suggestion was to inhibit the display of this name only, not the whole calendar.

Your list is showing events so you need to disable the Options->advanced->Show event calendar (I don't know what that is in German but you can temporarily switch to English if you cannot find it otherwise).

That was it! Thank you very much. Of course I had seen this option but I thouhgt this would hide the complete calendar window.
