Unlikely since it requires a lot of changes how the events and tasks are handled internally. As a workaround you can create multiple events.
What about my suggestion (Recurrence every XX HOURs/MINUTEs)?

Current version now is 2.9, but this "feature" hasn't been added yet

I think that kind of events could be <Hidden> automatically to avoid your concern, mentioned before.

Is that possible?

The problem is not how to show them in the windows but how Rainlendar handles the events and tasks internally. it's not likely that this functionality will be added to Rainlendar so you could consider using some timer application for this kinds of tasks instead a calendar.
