Please make it possible to add attachments to a Todo or appointment item. Thanks for this great software!

There are couple of problems with that. The ics files are plain text so attachments would have to be encoded into text which would make them quite large. The attachments also most likely couldn't be written to the external calendars (e.g. Google calendar).

I see these problems, and encoding files inside ics files would really make ics files too large. If you would make the text area Edit control URL-aware we could use file URLs like "file://C:\MyFile.doc" or web URLs to point to any attachments. Doesn't Google have an API for attachments?

The closest thing probably is the Google Docs but I don't know if you would like to have the attachments in there. Anyway, the url field for the events and tasks should work with local files too.
