TOPIC: Identify Config Directory During Install
#1608
Identify Config Directory During Install 7 Years, 11 Months ago
I have my configuration set up as...
Code:

-config="C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.rainlendar2"

Is there a way to not have the application's .exe installer change the desktop shortcut's target directory back to the default directory? The startup registry key is the same way...requiring a manual tweak after each installation. Maybe the installation process could have you identify the configuration directory.

Post edited by: Stormy, at: 2007/01/06 00:48

I guess there is no reason to overwrite the shortcut or the registry key if it already exists. I'll make the changes to the installer.
