I w'd like tell with you about this case:

Example:
Date: 08/11/2012 16.30
Now I scheduled Event or/and To do for 09.11.2012.
After scheduling, I power off my PC and turn on it at 10.11.2012.
Result: i loss my scheduled task/to do.

If i see right , i suggest this:

1. Store in the install folder the time of the last program closed

2. When RainLendar will be restart, it make this check:
Occured Event or/and To do between the last close and the new restart ?
If yes, display these [for the current day]

Can be ?

Setting a due date and an alarm will raise a popup when you start again the computer. Is that what you want?

Rainlendar won't update an event by itself, except with recurrence or the alarm.

Sorry for my bad english but i not full understand your answer:( .

In other words, i need "any" system for not loss Event/To do if the PC is off when these event is planned

This works better with Task/ToDo. (but there's no need to add an alarm)
