Proxy fallback option 7 Years, 9 Months ago
Is it possible to have the proxy link in a network shared calendar be something that operates in a fallback mode?

IE: try to connect direct, then use proxy if direct doesn't work, or try proxy then try direct.. either way would work..

It is going to be really annoying if I have to go and manually change it for each calendar if I change location between work and home.

Would it not be more logical for proxy settings to be global rather than than calendar based?

Actually upon thinking about it I can see where having seperate proxies might be useful, but it would be great if there was an option to try and connect directly if it couldn't via the proxy.

I've still the same problem. For me it would be very nice to set a proxy configuration url in the global preferences of rainlendar.
I also often switch the internet connection between work , hotel and home. To set the configuration manually for each calendar is really very annoying.
Is there any trick to avoid this problem?
