day view in the calendar to navigate 2 Years, 9 Months ago
Hello, I'm still a greenhorn ! Is there a possibility that by single click on a day in calendar that day view shows the day (if it is open)?

Welcome to the forum, Peterle.

FILE REMOVED. DOWNLOAD THE FILE IN THE NEXT MESSAGE

Copy the attached Lua file to your script's user folder (see FAQ) e.g., in Win7: C:\Users\[yourname]\.rainlendar2\scripts\

This code will work if you have one window called "Day View" (but only one), from the Shadow4 skin (although this code could be improved to work also for Month View).

I update the script file.
This will work for more than one Day View and for the Week View (both from Shadow4 skin).

Also, it fixed the problem for rounding numbers before/after midday.

It doesn't work in version 2.13.1. I've put DayScheduleChange-1410fa4dbe4702473c43349080c7085b.lua file into my Rainlendar2\scripts folder where other default .lua files are located.

Do I have to do anything else to make it work? Or course, I have restarted my program after putting .lua file to a \scripts folder.

I have Shadow4 - Calendar and Shadow4 - Day view windows Opened. Here is the screenshot:

I would have posted a proper image with png tags but it says that due to forum spam new users cannot post external links.

When I click on different days in calendar it doesn't change my day view to a clicked day on calendar. It doesn't do anything.

I've got Windows 10 x64 Enterprise.

Could you may be update this .lua script to make it work on new version of the program?

How to fix by yourself:
1. Use NotePad(support unicode) to open lua file.
2. Just change/modify "for i=0, #windowsList do" to "for i=1, #windowsList do" at line-11 and line-51.
3. Save lua file and refresh Rainlendar.

Thanks a lot for fast reply and the solution, this fix worked! I don't know how many hours it would take me to find that kind of mistake in code. I wonder how many time it took for you to find that mistake in code?

Attached edited working script for interested people. It actually a very useful feature which is missing in original program. Devs should include this feature in the next version of the program!

It feels "OK and insignificant" when feature like this one is available but when it isn't there it is actually very uncomfortable to use the program.
