I modify the Horizontal Calendar, as you can see in the image:


My screen resolution is 1024x768, so i can't say if it will work ok. The file "horizontal line calendar.xml" is zipped. You need to replace that same file inside Shadow4.r2skin/xml (make a copy first. The r2skin is a zip file)

So far, i can resize the spacing between days (i couldn't before), but now i can't remove the event icons.

I'd the same problem. Here are the tips to "fix" that:
Go to Right click -> Skins -> Active Skins -> Horizontal Line Calendar -> Options.

Month_year_font: font size of month and year text.
Small_font: font size for day numbers.
Large_font: font size for weekdays names.
Calendar_width: window width.
Calendar_height: window height.
Calendar_dayheight: "weekday/day" height.

Looking at the image, these are the steps:
1) Changes the font sizes until they have the size you want.
2) To change the spacing between days numbers change the window width.
3) Then, to change the spacing between weekdays and days change the Calendar_dayheight.
4) If month and year disappear, change the Calendar_height value.

I think that if you do this, you can set the font sizes to values that in your resolution are good, because you're changing the size, not the "zoom" scale.

NOTE: If the year is too far apart from month, change the x="1000r" to a less value.

That's almost perfect!

Only thing missing now, is:
1. to have the "todays date" color up as orange text.
2. have text size of "todays date" become a bit larger.
(somewhere between the size of year/month and day/date)
3. change color of days with event. (blue instead of green etc.)

4. Bold text on year, month & day names.
(to see if more equal to the "morestyle" skin)

That would be awesome!
