@lebon00 and @movezerb
following is what i found:

Common issues:
There are a error occur when convertskin.py trying to convert "DaysWeekendFontColor=xxxxxx".
Work around:
Delete (or use # mark as comment) the line 343 in convertskin.py:
element = createFontElement(skin, getOption(config, section, "DaysWeekendFontColor"), "font.weekends")

Individual issues:
For "Dashboard FR" skin:
a) Please modify [BACKGROUND] into [Background] and all other like that.
(note: [TOOLTIP] into [ToolTip], [MESSAGEBOX] into [MessageBox], [EVENTLIST] into [EventList])
b) Please check all "color=xxxxxx" has 6 bits, because i found some has not 6 bits.
c) "MessageBoxBitmapName=" is no set, please setting.

For "Glassy" skin:
a) Please check all "color=xxxxxx" has 6 bits, because i found some has not 6 bits.
b) In [Profile 4] section, it setting "Name=F皻e", but it not support double-byte character when convert to xml. So, please reset it as single-byte character.
c) Can't convert "Command=!RainlendarQuit". So, please open skin.xml then modify the line 81 into "<button action="Rainlendar_QuitApplication()" element="button.button2.png" origin="TOP-LEFT" visible="1" x="170" y="5" />"

Hello

I tried what you explained but still it does nothing.
The command window opens up and shuts down in a second, displaying no command line...
Would it be too much to ask someone to convert the zip file for me and re-post it here please?

The command window opens up and shuts down in a second, displaying no command line... you can use "Command Prompt" and change to the folder that has the ini file. Then type "convertskin.py" and press Enter to see what happen.

Here include what you want (skin.xml) and the files (glassy.ini & convertskin.py) that had been modified.

Python doesn't seem to like paths with '.'-char so you need to put the script somewhere else (e.g. C:\Temp). I did some updates to the script so you should download it again.
