Re:Help me create a new skin... 1 Year, 1 Month ago
I try to create a new window which use <list> tag, like :
<list id="DateView.list1" origin1="TOP-LEFT" x1="5" y1="21" origin2="BOTTOM-RIGHT" x2="-5" y2="-10" multiline="1">
<empty text="No events"> --this is copied from "Today" window
<appearance padding="0,0,0,0" element="font.10" color="200,200,200,255" effect="NORMAL" align="TOP-LEFT" />
</empty>
<item>
<appearance padding="10,2,0,2" element="font.10" color="255,255,0" effect="border" align="TOP-LEFT" indent="-4" />
<button element="todo.item" origin="TOP-LEFT" x="0" y="3" action="DateView_button('Event', '#COUNT#')" tooltip="" />
</item>
</list>

And want to change the value of "multiline" from lua script.

But I got two problem :
a) How to make <empty text="No events"> XXXXX </empty> work.
I has setting Rainlendar_SetItemValue("DateView", "DateView.list1", "list", ""), but not see the effect.
Can tell me what the correct syntax is ?
Or, add this feature if it is not yet exist in <list> tag.

b) I use Rainlendar_SetItemValue("DateView", "DateView.list1", "multiline", "0") to change the value of "multiline", but it not work.
Log-file wrote: "WARNING: Unknown field (multiline) for item (DateView.list1)".
And, if use lines = Rainlendar_GetItemValue("DateView", "DateView.list1", "multiline") always got "" (empty-string).

Please Help, Thank !

a) The "empty" element is currently supported only by the <todolist> and <eventlist>. I'll add it to the generic <list> too.
b) Hmm... seems that I've forgotten to add support for the "multiline" attribute in the getters and setters. I'll fix that.
