If you are trying to modify the Shadow4 skin you should note that the weekdays are drawn as images so you would have to use some paint application to edit them (they are just normal transparent png files). There are instructions in the help file how to uncompress the skin file and how to edit its contents.

If you use Windows you can just choose the "Extract All..." from the context menu in Windows Explorer after you have changed the skin's file extension to ".zip".

When you recreate the zip file make sure that you don't create an extra folder inside the archive. The skin.xml file must be in the root of the archive or Rainlendar won't be able to find it and will not load the skin.
