Hot to get clean display of fonts? 5 Years, 5 Months ago
The screenshot show my installed Rainlender with the localized Shadow4-Skin. The calender on the white background is copied from the Rainlender-Website. Notice the difference in the font rendering.

The parts with the red arrows look especially bad. For example, the M or the time 08:30.
I turned off font smoothing in Windows but this doesn't affect Rainlender.
How can i get the clean display like the one in the sample shots?

Are you using Cleartype? That doesn't work very well with Rainlendar since it has draw the text and alpha mask separately which will mess up the subpixel antialiasing. This is done because Windows GDI isn't able to draw text onto a 32 bit surface.

I forgot to mention, that i already tried to turn of ClearType. But i forgot to refresh Rainlender. Now i can reproduce it.
It is no big deal.
