Uninstall Rainlendar 6 Years, 6 Months ago
I deleted rainlendar but every time I switch on my computer I get the message "Unable to load resources from path:c:program files\rainlendar2\resources\".

Each time I delete ".rainlendar" ( yes, there is a funny dot before rainlendar ) from "Users" it keeps coming back.

Would someone please advise how I can stop this infuriating box appearing. ( In simple non technical English please ).

You should have used the uninstaller instead of trying to delete the folder yourself. But here's the info how you can delete the Rainlendar's folder completely:

- Open Windows Task Manager
- Change to Processes tab
- Select Rainlendar2.exe
- Click End Process
- Go to C:/Program Files and delete the Rainlendar2 folder

If you installed it from the deb package you can uninstall it from the System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager.

Re:Uninstall Rainlendar 5 Years, 6 Months ago
I tried to remove Rainlendar lite yesterday evening from my Ubuntu X64 system and could not find an entry in synaptic or anywhere else. Installing the pro version did not work either, because dpkg complained about the installed rainlendar lite. Removing it via "sudo apt-get remove rainlendar2-lite" did not work, because it could not find it...?
In the end I remove rainlendar2-lite with the following command:
"sudo dpkg -r rainlendar2-lite"
That worked well and I was able to install the pro version.

To further test it, I uninstalled it from my 32 bit system and there it worked flawlessly with apt-get remove. Must be the --force-arcitecture needed for the X64 systems, that causes the uninstall problems.

Thanks for the answer Rainy.

I was sure I did not install Rainlendar through Synaptic, but it seems I did =P

Thanks again and good luck =)
