Yes, your assumption is probably correct (see Appendix). I can not send the original event, because I changed it. If the error persists, I will send it.
Thanks J.K.
PS: The event is stored in google calendar. Where is the search function of Rainlendar? It gave them earlier in the Administration menu http://www.rainlendar.net/cms/images/fbfiles/images/Rainlendar_3.jpg...

The category defines the events where the years are added to the title so you would have to create a second category for the birthdays. You can use the same appearance as with the build-in birthdays. The categories can be created in Options->Skins (click the categories button)....

I'm wondering, if it's possible to set the Birthday date to "unknown" year.

It means, event is shown as "Birthday" (icon, color ), however, the years are not calculated, even if "Add years after summary" checkbox is on.

Any chance to do this without adding one more event (like "Birhday_with_unknown_year") ?...

It's probably caused by some event that you have in your calendar. The beta versions have the asserts enabled so you see these from time to time. It would be useful if you can attach the event so I can try to check what exactly is the reason for the assert. If you don't know what event is causing the problem you can just click cancel and ignore the issue or go back to the official release version....

I have migrated to Railendar Pro. The old events are stored in ..\.rainlendar2\default.ics. When I delete an event, it disappears from the screen, but after the next refresh, it reappears. I checked: in default.ics the event is not deleted. Manually editing defaulty.ics removes the event. Shouldn't the default.ics be adjusted automatically? Or do I do something wrong?...

The problem is not in Rainlendar so installing a previous version will not help. This can happen even if you have never even used Rainlendar before. Certain events in your calendar just cause the Google Calendar API to fail with the error 500. There are plans to upgrade to the newer version of the API in Rainlendar but it requires that everything is written from scratch. And there is no guarantee that it will even make the problem go away....

Well, YOU guys need fix Rainlender then.

Obviously no one is going to: "If changing the "Import Limit" setting doesn't help the only other option is to try to find the problematic event from your calendar. You can do that by creating a new calendar to your Google account and moving the events to it one by one until the server doesn't return the error 500 anymore. After you find the event you can delete it (and recreate if you wish) and copy the moved events back to your original calendar."

Your libc seems to be too old. It might be quite tricky to update that since it is used basically every application in your system so you probably just have to wait until SLED upgrades the library. In the mean time you can try one of the older versions (http://www.rainlendar.net/download/) and see if they work....
